With a depth of only 5.99mm, it is simply astounding to know that it also features a 3.2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. Elegant and sleek, the Samsung U100 Mobile Phone redefines mobile capabilities with state-of-the-art Optimized Power Usage Solution technology. This automatically detects the application the phone is currently using to minimize power consumption. It is a great improvement compared to other similar devices.
The Samsung U100 Mobile Phone has a 262K Colour TFT Screen with a pixel resolution of 220 by 176. Aside from the digital photo camera function, it can also capture and play videos in MPEG4 or 3GP formats. Music files can also be accessed. It can stream MP3, MIDI, AAC or WMA files on its built-in music player. Data transfer can be done via Bluetooth or USB and can sync with Outlook. Java download is also allowed by the Samsung U100 to add new applications and games.
Business functions are clearly in mind when the Samsung U100 was designed. It uses Powerpoint and Office to view documents and uses Pictbridge and BPP for mobile printing. Email support for POP3, SMTP and IMAP4 is allowed aside from its SMS, EMS, and MMS component. A total of 1,000 SMS messages and 1,000 contact entries can be stored in its 70MB internal memory.
