Choosing mobile phone brands

Monday April 21, 2008

Mobiles come from many different companies, all with their own philosophies of design and functionality. Deciding on which mobile phone brand has a similar style to you can be a tough decision, but once you make it you will probably find yourself loyal to the brand for quite a while.

Apple mobiles have become popular lately, but this is a result largely of the success of the iPod, which had already proved Apple's adeptness at design. The entry into the mobile phone market is not unexpected, as it is somewhat necessary to compete with Sony-Ericsson and its range of music player mobiles. The design of the Apple iPhone is simple and sleek, much like other Apple products, and it has received many positive comments about its functionality.

LG mobiles haven't got the same sort of reputation as some of the bigger brands, but they sport an impressively varied range of designs. From rounded flip tops to more rectangular affairs, LG have clearly made an attempt to satisfy the crowd with a great opportunity for uniqueness in the design of your mobiles.

Motorola hit it big with the RAZR series, possibly one of the most popular flip top ranges of mobiles ever. They've mostly kept with the same style ever since, providing a slick and popular look with an interface that has now become well known and similar functionality is almost standard.
