3G mobiles are not the only way of accessing the Web using a 3G network. Mobile technologies extend to more than just 3G phones, as those after 3G business solutions need the mobile Internet access for laptops. Extended Web use on 3G mobiles can be awkward for business purposes, so it can be worthwhile considering plug-in 3G laptop modems such as the Telstra Turbo 7 Series Express card or the Telstra Turbo 7 Series Modem.
3G modems generally require their own separate data usage plans from 3G mobiles, but many service providers have very reasonable deals. While certainly more expensive than home Internet connections, 3G Internet connections can provide enough data for simple Web browsing on a laptop at a good price.
